John Prine's 'Tree of Forgiveness' Out Today

John Prine’s highly anticipated new album, The Tree of Forgiveness, is out today. Released on his own independent label, Oh Boy Records, the album is Prine's first collection featuring new material in over 13 years and was produced by Grammy Award winning producer Dave Cobb. 

In celebration of the release, Prine performed the album’s first single, “Summer’s End,” on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” with special guests Sturgill Simpson and Brandi Carlile.

Prine kicked off his extensive nationwide tour with a sold out show at New York’s Radio City Music Hall, with additional upcoming dates include May 18 at L.A.’s Ace Theatre, June 15 at Boston’s Wang Theatre, June 30 at Austin’s Bass Hall and October 5 and 6 at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium.
