Description: My father inlaw and I shared a walk one day early in our relationship (before I married his daughter) ,and, in conversation, we also shared the losses of our fathers...his when he was 3 or 4 years old and mine after a life long friendship of 25 years. Ej's father was killed in action in WWII and mine.....a massive heart attack. That very night of that same day....I had a dream about Ej's father sitting in a trench of mud and dirt, looking through his wallet at a picture of his wife and child and their home in the Blue Ridge Mountains in the background. I remember a strong presence in my dream saying "you can't choose your orders" "you gotta go" and from that dream comes a song that is very dear to me and is in honor of all those men and women who served in WWII and to those men and women who serve now in any service/branch or other services to protect this country. Our Country. God Bless you all.
