Description: I wrote this song for my daughter last year. She turns 13 in May. I wish I heard learned how to play guitar sooner and written this song when she was a baby.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Tonight, let me sing you to sleep
Let the sound of my voice
Be the last thing you hear
As you drift off to sweet dreams
All watch over you
The sound of you breathing
Is comfort to me
Lay your head down
And close your eyes
And I will sing a lullaby
Lay your head down
In these arms of mine
And I will sing a lullaby
Sleep now don't worry
I'll be here when you wake
All through the night
And through to day break
But for now the moon rises
In the sky at one end
A lone killdeer's song
Rides on the wind
Lay your head down
And close your eyes
And I will sing a lullaby
Lay your head down
In these arms of mine
And I will sing a lullaby
