Never Been To Carolina

Artist: Bob Jenkins

Album: Every Road Leads Me Home
Category: Singer/songwriter, New Folk, Contemporary

This song has been applauded 2 times!
Description: This song came to me from out of the blue...probably osmosis from listening to J.T. for years. Never been, but I've heard it's beautiful there (in Carolina). Maybe someday I'll do a gig there!

Your voice is like butter on a warm Carolina day...smooth and sweet. Love the meolody, the lyrics, the story, the finish.

As a dyed in the wool Carolina boy I wecome you to visit us any time. It's hard to believe you could touch the Carolina spirit having never been here. Beautiful piece - Thank you!

I can't believe how few votes this song has! Great tune and lyrics and the melody has haunted me all day. It was an easy choice for me to vote for this one. Thanks Bob for sharing your dreams with us. I have to admit I've been a J.T. fan for the past 40 or so years, so that might have influenced me too :-)

Bob, I have been to Colorado. I hope to get to Heaven. Never been to Carolina. But, I do know good music, and that song was one of the best I have ever heard. Brent Neck

Rarely do I find myself leaning back, closing my eyes and taking a soul journey because a piece of music is so well crafted. What a wonderful work of art. Thanks Bob.

Great melody, great guitar, a little tremolo in the voice but overall an excellent song. Certainly reminds me of JT.
