Description: I wrote this as a private meditation for myself...never intending for others to hear it, so naturally, it has become my most requested song. I'm, kind-of hoping it will become the next Kum ba ya...

This is a most lovely and precious song. And how beautifully you sing these choice lyrics! Kum ba ya?? That sells this song way too short. Writing this song apparently did something for you, as it does for me and other listeners too.
Thanks for putting this one up.

Thank you, Jack. Ya know, sometimes my brain fills up with too much stuff, so in recent years the Universe has been trying to teach me the value of simplicity...in my music, as well as my art. This was one of my earlier lessons. So glad it moved you. :)

I've been meditating, reading a book by Thich Nhat Hanh and listening to him talk about peace and compassion when I go to bed each night. Now, in spite of all the chaos and distractions, I find myself waking every morning knowing that I can choose peace...choose love...regardless of the world around me.

This song is so powerful. While the world stumbles around searching for happiness in power, wealth and control...you have written a beautiful, simple song that describes what we all must do every day. This song describes the root of happiness...at least, to me, it does. Thank you for this gift! Kevin

I can't tell you, Kevin, how much responses like this mean to me. If more people understood their own power to make change, it would be a very different world...for them. Peace starts in the heart and spreads to everyone and everthing around us. That's my belief and I'm sticking to it! :)

Bettina,
This song has so much meaning .. if everyone in this world would see that they are able to choose, even through trials, depression or illness, we can still choose Love..
Love conquers all.. this is a sure confirmation of what life really ought to be in the eyes of many..
Hugs, thank you, Darlene Pringle..
