I don't think I could get tired of your voice, Martha Ann. Sad subject, nice piece of work. Makes me think about the flip side, maybe write about somebody who kicked it, 'Back from the Dead.'

Outstanding vocals....The instrumentals are top drawer too....Well done!

This song actually brought a tear to my eye. Great job! Where has this voice been hiding ?

Wow! Tremendous song - the writing, singing and instrumental are all top-notch, and great emotional content too. I'll be back for more...

Great song about a really sad subject.
The vocals and instrumentation convey the emotion of the most powerfully moving lyrics I've heard in quite a while. Too bad stuff like this never gets played on commercial radio.

Sometimes a cowboy can lose himself out on the big lonesome range. After awhile, he just can't see the trees because of the forest and forgets where he's going. It's truly a sad moment ... Sad, sad, sad. A pleasant voice indeed, you sing from the heart.

Why say more when 'I like it' just seems to say it all? I like it.

It's a while since I listened to this but still sends goosebumps..Martha conveys the despair and bleakness in such a haunting fashion.

It is a while since I logged in here..but this hauntingly beautiful song is still "top of the pops"..and rightly so.
