Born and raised in Atlanta, GA, I got my start in the folk music biz in Boston, MA in '97. Kevin So took me down to the Kerrville Folk Festival in '98; been there every year since! I was a NewFolk Finalist in 2000, the same year I met my lovely wife. We have a 5 year old daughter, Maya Sahale, with whom I'm writing lots of great songs. I converted my '81 Mercedes Diesel to run on recycled restaurant grease. Currently, I'm working as a school teacher, heading up the AVID program at Eisenhower Middle School in San Antonio, TX. AVID is an amazing program that helps kids who are B,C, & D students enroll in AP classes and gives them the support they need to be very successful in those classes as well as getting in to college with scholarships. It's the best thing in public education, for sure! Hope you enjoy my music. I'm working on a kids album that will hopefully be done sometime in 2007. Thanks!
