Artist Biography:
Jason 'Greywolf' Leigh, an active cancer survivor, has performed solo all across America in Coffee Houses, Halls and Bars, as well as appearing on several PBS Television Musical Specials and also appeared at the very first Jazz and Heritage Festival in New Orleans. He is a Folk/Americana singer/songwriter, active member of BMI, as well as membership as Publisher, 'Cherry Picker Publishing' (BMI). He is registered with the Texas Performing Artists, Bandname.com (Where his Band name ‘Greywolf’ has long been registered), CDBaby.com, Apple iTunes, and many other such music related associations and websites.
Debut album, “Directions,” was released and played worldwide on the #1 daytime talk radio show, ‘The Meria Heller Show’ (http://meria.net ), then again on 'The Tony Gill Show' (metro Boston area--ABC-News/American College Radio Network) and various other radio stations under ‘talk radio’ banners.
Jason studied Liberal Arts, Journalism and Electronics in college and noted Universities. Elected Editor of the student newspaper while contributing as a writer to the Under Ground newspaper, The Crab. He holds several Degrees. Honorably Discharged, Disabled Vietnam Veteran who is a decades long Veterans advocate.
He worked in Network TV-News & PBS as a cameraman, Master Controller, writer, editor and director, having obtained a First Class F.C.C. License and Electronics Degree.
Jason is an active member of The IFP (Independent Film & Producers), the Film Music Network, Texas Talent Registry and many other such film/musical Registries.
Songwriter, Jason ‘Greywolf’ Leigh, has spent many years writing and crafting his mostly acoustic Folk/Americana/Ballad songs for the 'everyday man and woman' with the spirit of good in spreading his messages as the voice calling ‘to’ the wilderness.
Being a cancer survivor, Jason is not easily discouraged and tries to extend his positive outlook on life through his song lyrics, poems, short stories, and novels.
