Artist Biography:
Perry’s honest brand of contemporary acoustic music is about life stories that listeners can relate to. Her distinctive voice ties the words and music together: always tender, lyric and melodic, at times soaring, seductive or smoky.

Says a listener: "Her songs touch unguarded parts of us, and fill us with joy, nostalgia and longing. Once you see and hear Perry Desmond-Davies perform, you will never confuse her with anyone else. "
Perry's first CD, "This One's for You", was a live recording from a benefit concert at Nashua, New Hampshire's Simple Gifts Coffeehouse. For this effort, she emphasized her heartfelt original compositions (with good reason), while including unique tributes to John Prine’s "Angel From Montgomery", Gillian Welch’s "Orphan Girl", and a scorching rendition of the classic "House of the Rising Sun".

Her highly anticipated studio album, "Sweet Ride", containing 12 new original songs in a variety of styles, from bluegrass to a capella to light rock and hard blues, was officially released in September, and is now available for sale as both digital download(per track or whole album) or in a physical CD...

Please visit Perry's website for links to the CD and YouTube videos from the concert, it was a blast!!

Thanks so much for listening...it's a sweet, SWEET ride 'round here!
