|Featured on BBC Introducing The South, Adam Giles Levy (Guildford, England) presents his debut EP, “Unravelled” recorded at Greenhouse Studios, Vancouver. Four new tracks and an interpretation of Fink’s “Looking Too Closely” with Canadian producer, Alex Gamble (Union Sound Co, Toronto) at the helm. With its eerie cello arrangement and infectious vocal the title track sets the tone for this folk-rock record.|
In 2012, and in search of reinvention Adam quit the law for music. Taking time to transition from the office to the stage Adam moved to Vancouver where he recorded demos, played, listened, learned. Landing in Spain in 2016, Adam published “Unravelled”, and toured, and toured. 31 cities, 81 shows in 12 months. Playing prominent venues like the Sala Barts, Barcelona and the Kafe Antzokia, Bilbao. Winning the award for “Best Vocalist” at the international showcase, “Concurso Pop Rock Villa de Bilbao”. Selling out shows in Barcelona and the Basque Country were highlights, as was being invited to open for William Fitzsimmons (Festival Grec, Barcelona, Spain).
Adam’s live show can get intense. He plays solo, he plays with his trio. Far from the conventional image of the singer-songwriter, Adam’s music ebbs and flows, powerful and driven yet at times fragile. These are songs with meaning; critical and necessary.
