Artist Biography:
Vic Sadot is a prolific singer-songwriter based in Berkeley. Vic writes in the Broadside Magazine tradition, and he just released a new 18 song "Truth Troubadour" CD. There are 2 Phil Ochs songs, one Bob Dylan, and one John Lennon song. It is the most acoustic of the 4 CD's Vic has posted at CD Baby over the years. Vic is on vocals, acoustic guitar, and some piano accordion here and there. Vic is exquisitely accompanied on "Truth Troubadour" on 17 of the 18 songs by the talented Eric Golub on ukuleles, viola, and violin.

Vic Sadot interviewed Phil Ochs in May 1973 in DC. Vic broke the “Phil Ochs’ FBI File” story on the cover of Broadside in 1982 after reviewing over 400 pages obtained through the Freedom of Information Act by Gordon Friesen.

In 2015 Vic created a video of Ochs radio interview audio to post at Vic Sadot Vimeo & Truth Troubadour YouTube Channels.

In the past Vic Sadot fronted the Crazy Planet Band & Planete Folle Cajun/Zydeco Band for over 25 years, and their CD releases remain available at CD Baby: Comin' Home (1997); Broadsides & Retrospectives (2005); 9/11 Truth & Justice Songs (9/11/2011). Vic often shares unreleased songs at SoundCloud.
