Artist Biography:
Burnt Paw is a songwriter, fingerstyle guitarist, oral historian and loafer. His tunes are influenced by guitar-based music from both sides of the atlantic, from the ‘American Primitive’ sound developed by John Fahey's Takoma Records, to the wide range of revisionist folk schools of the U.K., including 70's acid psychedelic folk, free folk and contemporary new folk. His songs emerge slowly from fragments of oral histories, conversations and stories encountered while roaming the streets. Burnt Paw is happy for any gig organisers/promotors/labels/event organisers to get in touch via this page.
