Artist Biography:
One of the country's hardest working musicians with well over 3000 gigs to his credit, either with his blues band Night Train, as a solo acoustic artist, or as organiser and founder of the Buskers Ball of Bolton, England. Alec has played a large part in the new singer/songwriter revival. Former resident singer at Poynton Folk Centre (the year it was voted Melody Maker's Club of the Year), music journalist and broadcaster. A personal friend of Danny 'McFly' Jones, Alec has his own label, Reda Records, named after the village in northern Poland where his father was born....whilst not directly influenced by anyone, he tips his hat to the work of Dylan, Cat Stevens, The Incredible String Band and 70's the folk revival.
