| Artist Biography: |
a songwriter living in eliot, maine - right in the heart of the vibrant seacoast scene. michael has been writing and performing songs for twenty years. he has released three c.d's, 'building houses' (out of print), a self-titled effort with his band northern roots, and michael tero and northern roots's 'deep water blues'. he is currently working on a solo disc, as well as in an americana/roots rock outfit, called Back40. when he is not playing guitar, fishing or goofing off, he works as a carpenter/contractor and helps his wife with their two daughters ages five and two.
