Artist Biography:
Singer-songwriter Steve Lorig, who describes himself as a "jack of all trades," grew up in rural, northern Illinois. His resume ranges from carpenter to ecologist and lab technician. His latest incarnation is "singer-songwriter," a beatnik poet and soulful harmonica player.
His first album Age of Ignorance, completed in January of 2006, is a sideways look into the repetitive motion of Americana.

Steve, still in his formative years (musically anyway), has sought out the souls of socially conscious songwriters such as Bob Dylan and Woody Guthrie and includes Lead Belly and John Prine as strong influences.
