The Songfarmers from Franklin, Kentucky have already become, according to Dr. Erika Brady, who hosts the WKYU radio show, Barren River Breakdown, “…a force to be reckoned with…” in the world of Americana Music. Their music inspires audiences with a combination of instruments blending in melodic purity which can only be accomplished by seasoned artists with a love for playing Americana music. The lyrics are honest, heartwarming and real. The group’s founder, Tommy Johnson, brings these wonderful songs to life with passionate performances that only a true artist can achieve. This family of musicians has created an amazing work of art that can be felt in the soul.
