Soulful, haunting and mischievous, the songs of Hey Mavis vividly depict the human condition. Even though the band's three members come from diverse musical backgrounds, they have found common ground in their desire to be a leader in roots-based popular music. Practicing, writing and recording amidst the beauty of the Cuyahoga Valley National Park, Hey Mavis strives to redefine the boundaries of old-timey and modern folk music.
