Ever have an album that makes you feel good every time you hear it; one you never tire of; in fact you cannot get enough of? It is Simple Gearle. Stacey Earle knows how to craft a song. I am not sure her teaming with Mark Stewart brings out the best in her musically--While her efforts with him are good, ther e is a sweetness and vulnerability--not to mention a melodic sensibility to her solo work that seems to be lacking in her work with Stewart. Not meant to define their music, just a personal opinion.
