Excellent Subject Matter!!
OK, I might be a little biased. Even besides the subject matter, I think this song in lyrically and harmonically strong.

Great song, great album
Ralph's "Not till Tomorrow" album (not sure when but around 1973) marked a real maturing of his song writing. He was enormously influencial on those of us who were around the British folk club circuit at the time. His guitar playing was always stunning but now there was a new depth to his songs. The simple beauty of Nana's song and the ever present Treets of London were now being surpassed. Zimmerman Blues (about Bob Dylan) Barges, Nettle Wine all stood out as great pieces and signalled the great things to come. I saw him play recently, the charm, the easy manner combined with resolute professionalism still shone through. A gem.
