Western Swing was around long before Dylan started breaking eardrums with his fingernails-on-a-chalkboard vocals...so perhaps a bit of swing could be considered under the Grandfather Clause?

I did an interview with Wayne the Train for Hickory Wind. Very cool guy, very serious musician, playing his music the way he feels it, instead of the way some corporate shirt tells him to. He gets a lot of solid respect from a lot of other serious players, and Kenny Maines doesn't work with just anybody.
