of the song I am commenting on? When God Made Me
I had never heard of this song before hearing it on Folk Alley. At first I thought I had inadvertently accessed a Christian internet station, but the song was a bit better than that, and the voice was very recognizable...was that Neil Young? Sure enough it was. And now, as I write these comments, I am hearing other songs that seem to have an unmistakably religious theme. The fact is, I don't believe that any god made me, and I feel really uncomfortable with songs like that.

Nuff with Jesus
I'll second Marian's response....I'm choosing to listen and support Folk Alley because I like upbeat Folk Songs not lethargic Jesus songs. Nothing against Christians but let's leave all religion out of this station.

Religious Propaganda
I think I will be writing a comment every time I hear this song as it is the most offensive to those that do not believe the way FA clearly does.

9220...You start leaving out this that then eventually there would BE no songs...I enjoy the FA variety put up with the occassional antigov't lyrics in some etc. etc. Marian's discomfort is also called conviction and whether she chooses to ignore it by any other belief is totally up to her. p.s. I suspect FA probably includes some seasonal stuff in the repertoire.
