ADDINGshut up and sing! Honestly, if he had a melody to sing instead of speaking his lyrics I would probably like this song. (The guitar in the background is very nice after all.) I'd really like to like this song but it's very disappointing in spite of that. posted byJim Clark on November 26, 2008, 10:28:32 am | Another to try [QUOTE=Jim Clark]Honestly, if he had a melody to sing instead of speaking his lyrics I would probably like this song. Note to Jim - perhaps you might prefer the version sung my Emmylou Harris -- that's the version I'm familiar with and absolutely love. It was interesting, tho, to hear David Olney's FA version.
make it a great day,

A style that reminds me of Kenny Rogers. I like the talking blues style. Don't need to hear it all the time but it breaks up the music during the day and has a neat story. I should go out and learn it myself because I know it would go well when I perform. posted by Butch Krause on July 20, 2010, 10:47:19 am |
