Bonnie Koloc: A Love Song
Oh, for those old days in Chicago -- The Earl, Orphan's, Somebody Else's Troubles, Amazing Grace. If Hemingway's Paris was a moveable feast, Chicago in the 70s was a moveable folk festival. And Bonnie, in those days, was, along with Steve Goodman, the center of it all. I have heard her recently, but it must be admitted that, as it is said, you can't go home again. To use another cliche, you just had to be there.
