Waste of Bandwidth
Please. Buena Vista Social Club. Must we be subjected to this stuff? What is folk music? Is it modern manipulative madness or should it perhaps sound a bit older? Also, for my money, you could cease playing anything with horns unless it's by Every Mother's Son. I find this fare jarring.

re: Waste of Bandwidth
I recently viewed the documentary Buena Vista Social Club produced by Ry Cooder and found the music refreshing. It was a pleasure to hear it again! This music is Cuban roots music and is performed by people in their 80's and 90's. Very impressive and important historically.

Caribbean Folk
I had a much different reaction than Claire did.  When I heard the unmistakable sounds of Cuba, I turned up the volume.  I exclaimed, "Finally!" I would like to hear much more music from the Caribbean.  Let's hear some Calypso!  Let's hear the beautiful voice of Harry Belafonte!
