The words may be profound but the vocals--both Dylan's and Baez's --are awful. We can forgive Dylan --he is brilliant--Baez--no other comment.

Yes, we can forgive Dylan;
he wrote the words.
But I've never heard
Baez in poor voice.

Dylan never was concerned with what was thought of his voice or quality of music. He sings what he says - and he says THAT beautifully.
Always was a Great Song... and only offensive where it SHOULD be.

Never be another one quite like him. He uses words as if by magic.
One can always relate to a line in one of his songs at some time in their lives.

I'd have to agree with Jim Pipkin whole heartily even though the music in this song does leave one longing a bit. There must be 200 christian songs played on FA for every song that is counter to or of a different religion. I hope FA starts noticing this bias.
