ADDINGWith God On Our Side Why this lowest rating (1) ?!
Is it cause the sp?cial Dylan's voice or the actual oppressive and burning truthfulness of this song ? posted byPatrice SIRE on January 08, 2006, 11:25:54 am | Impotence The "1" ratings are pleas for help from the unenlightened. We wish them success in their spiritual journey, and move on. posted by Jim Pipkin on January 08, 2006, 11:45:15 pm | with god on our side The words may be profound but the vocals--both Dylan's and Baez's --are awful. We can forgive Dylan --he is brilliant--Baez--no other comment. posted by Nan Abrams on June 13, 2006, 10:54:22 am | profound [QUOTE=Nan Abrams]The words may be profound but the vocals--both Dylan's and Baez's --are awful. The words are profound!
Yes, we can forgive Dylan;
he wrote the words.
But I've never heard
Baez in poor voice. posted by Chuck Germain on October 28, 2006, 10:54:55 am | re: With God On Our Side I agree with Nan . Baez is killing me here. Ouch. posted by Vicki Burton on August 16, 2007, 09:50:04 am | with God on our side Dylan never was concerned with what was thought of his voice or quality of music. He sings what he says - and he says THAT beautifully.
Always was a Great Song... and only offensive where it SHOULD be. posted by Rick Hamilton on June 04, 2008, 12:17:34 pm | Dylan Never be another one quite like him. He uses words as if by magic.
One can always relate to a line in one of his songs at some time in their lives.
