Greg Brown is quite simply one the world greatest all time songwriters, and this, to me, is among his best. I do, however, like the version from "The Live One". That is his very best album in my opinion. Thank you thank you thank you for playing this wonderful song!!!!

I agree that the Live album is probably his best.
I still think the version of Canned Goods (and the patter leading up to the song and threading all through it) from the Live album is one of the best performances anywhere. Maybe we can hear that one on Folk Alley!
We are still hoping Greg will come do a show in San Diego!!
