Victoria Vox
I stream Folk Alley at work, and was enthralled by this voice, the song, the uke. Jim Blum said he heard her at the Memphis folk meeting. Seeing no connection or information about Victoria Vox on Folk Alley (although she does have a web page and several albums), I did some quick Googling to find her web page, and found that the song C'est Noye is on her new album, Chameleon, which is just now coming out. I not only ordered a copy online from her website, but sent my daughter in Baltimore the information about the CD release party to be held there on March 29th. Sure would be nice if Folk Alley could figure out a way to connect the random recordings they often play with the artists web presence--how hard would that be? Cheers, John
