One more example of Garnet's skillfully crafted songs. This one sensitively touches on a subject dear to many hearts. It's hard to decide which is his greatest talent -- writing, singing or performing. He's the total package. This song knocks at the heart's door.

I've heard much better anti-war songs than this. Rogers squeezes in preachy lyrics even when they don't match the meter or the rhyme.

Great song. It speaks to the hopelessness of the Afghanistan war. It should be made an anthem in Canada.

Garnet doesn't let us off the hook. He consistently looks at some of life's hardest moments and reminds us that there are folks struggling with them. His singing and playing only add to the depth of the story he's telling. Hard to hear but always worth listening to. Thanks Garnet.
