Man of Iron....blech
I accidentally hit enter and rated this song a "5" but it wasn't even a "1"....couldn't wait for it to be over. Sorry, but true.

hmmm
I have to agree with Margaret on this song. It is very rare that I hear songs on Folk Alley that I just want to end, but this was one of them. It was mainly the background music that bugged me. We have snow here and I thought someone was stuck on the hill outside because it sounded like someone was spinning their tires on ice. It wasn't until I turned the volume down on my computer that I realized it was part of the song.

Man of Iron - Sandy Denny (No More Sad Refrains/A&M)
One of my favorites from the Halloween Stream, Chris! This one really gets my aural acuity up and running - very spooky and eerie with that wind and undulating blood pressure raising drum head sound. Reminds me of nights on the moors, or what I might imagine one to be like - all misty windy dank and bone chilling. Very dreamlike in an anxious kind of way. The late great Sandy Denny's voice is perfect for this. I'd like to know what this song is from..what influences came to bear..

This is for the Halloween stream. It made it into the main stream by mistake once. How could anyone not like this?
