For everyone who thinks that young people aren't involved in the folk scene it’s time to check out Old School Freight Train! These 5 young up-and-comers, based in Charlottesville, VA, use bluegrass instrumentation to blend the best from folk, traditional, rock, Latin, pop and jazz, creating an electrifying contemporary acoustic sound that is uniquely theirs. Discovered by David Grisman, OSFT's latest CD, Run, was recorded in Grisman's Dawg Studios for his Acoustic Disc label.
