During his successful career as a session sideman, tour player and solo artist, guitar genius John Jorgenson has performed in a variety of styles. He formed the Desert Rose Band with Chris Hillman, put together the guitar "supergroup" Hellcasters and played behind artists that include Luciano Pavarotti, Bonnie Raitt, Benny Goodman and Elton John, who took Jorgenson around the world on a six-year tour. In his performance with his quintet at Happy Days Lodge, Jorgenson focuses on his true love, American Gypsy Jazz that rivals the master, Django Reinhardt.
This concert was recorded live at Happy Days Lodge in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park near Peninsula, OH in October 2008 by contributing producer Craig Adams.
