Was delighted by the Scream Stream last year. Would really really really like to get the playlist. Is this possible? Thanks firstname.lastname@example.org

"Now why would I want to listen to a Halloween Stream" said the Curmudgeon, (taking time out to remind how overblown Halloween has become). Much to his surprise the Curmudgeon exclaimed "why this is really good what a great collection of thematic music!" So copying the URL he was able to listen via I-Tunes, at least for today. Thank you Folk Alley!

This Halloween stream is a lot of fun. I never thought of the idea of "Halloween music" before, but I like it. Also, I haven't listened to the whole stream yet, so maybe it is already here, but The Ghost of Nathaniel Carter by The Kickin Grass Band would fit well here.

Absolutely LOVE this stream! It's so hard to find good music to listen to while baking Halloween cupcakes! Thanks, guys, you made my afternoon, and this will be on my playlist every October from now on!

Brilliant idea! Halloween music Yeah!! Made my day...made an otherwise boring task, painting cabinet doors, downright enjoyable. Plus I know from experience; I'll remember this fantastic Music as I enjoy my renewed Kitchen! Like so many other times Folk Music and the folks that bring it to me are a big part of my life. thanks ever so Much! Happy Halloween from Sharie and Chris

When will the Halloween stream go live for 2012?
on October 12, 2012.
Fantastic stream. Not that I'd expect anything less from this site, but it's awfully nice nonetheless.

Love this! You can really get a feel for how Halloween perhaps evolved through the European story telling songs into the folk tale stories of the colonies to the ballads of today. We have looked forward to this for the past few years. The kids love it too!

I may have missed it but a song by Christopher Shaw called "Wheeler Barton's Hound" on his "Born and Raised" album would certainly qualify for this holiday! Also "The legend of Indian Pass" from this album and "The Ballad of Hulet Brand" from his "Adirondack" album. Thanks for all the great Holiday music!
