Review Comments: If you are a Nitty Gritty Dirt Band fan, you'll like this album. I'd never heard the title track before, and it was great. This is an album you can listen end to end, without jumping over songs and enjoy every one.
The American Band is Back and Sounding Great

Review Comments: The band has been together for quite a long time and yet on this album they sound fresh with not only excellent vocals but instrumentally as well. In fact, the bands diverse and highly capable ability to master music in a wide range from a country sound, 'Resurrection', to an almost pop sound,"Stuck in the Middle with You" is a major part of their appeal. They can tackle any song original or cover and make it their own and in the latter case, make it so unique and quality it can be released as a single. This CD has more sharing of vocals with Jeff Hanna with lead on many and their harmonies exemplify a band that has worked together all these years without losing their coiperative spirit. Their great capability to tackle a range of instruments is part of the attarction to this great group, they add a variety of sounds that fit well with each song. It is a pure delight to hear this great band, they are pure Americana, and I look forward to seeing them on the road again soon.

Review Comments: ...i'm deeply and joyfully into the NGDB Music since the "Symphonion Dream" (his masterpiece in my humble opinion) and "Dirt, Silver and Gold" (the dream-like compilation) days, the glorious mid-seventies. Got on vinyls/CDs every single album this truly gifted Gentlemen recorded, and now with "Speed Of Life" i experiment a very happy listening, superb and medicinal sounds for me on this depressed times. Thanks for the long ride, NGDB! Thanks for always placing me on a sweet and warm parallel universe! Congratulations for the new tunes and the great covers of Canned Heat/"Going Up The Country", and Stealers Wheel/"Stuck In The Middle (With You)"! Best for the new year 2010 and please, consider to make gigs over Europe!

Review Comments: I like full albums because good ones have a flow. If you like southern music this is a good treat to listen too. I also like the recorded live sound they went for. It works and keeps the music simple and easy to listen too.

Review Comments: this is a great cd. i like the songs speed of light,amazing love and good to be alive. I saw the band in concert at the opry this past summer, and they put on a great show.over all this is a four star cd.
