Welcome to my porch

Review Comments: How do people find out about music like this? There is that Avenue called Americana and it bisects AltCountry Blvd. It's in the town where you know-depression but still want to dance and be lulled by voices that comfort and caress. God, I love this place. I wasn't born there but while my mind dances it does so with Donna the Buffalo...and when I die please sing a song or two from Silverlined. I'll be in heaven but if you pick up on this SO WILL YOU.
LOVE IT!!

Review Comments: Music is a very personal thing, so it's best to sample to see if it touches your spirit. But i love the melodies, the voices, the lyrics and the instrumentation on this album. Their love of music and life and their artistic gifts shine throughout.
Buy it and go see them live!

Review Comments: I have been a member of the herd for about ten years now and love this band. Have all their CDs (Group and Solo Projects) and even a cassette or two. Silverlined is a great starter CD if you are not familiar with DTB or for us seasoned fans . . .its danceable stuff. If you haven't seem DTB in person, find the time to catch a show or festival . . bring the whole family, bring your friends or come alone you are sure to find many friends at a DTB show.
Great album

Review Comments: This is a great album. Tara and Jeb trade songs throughtout the album. Most of the songs have a very catchy hook.
Goodbye Individuality, Hello "We Sound like Everybody Else"

Review Comments: On the second listening I was already skipping through the CD. Donna the Buffalo's wonderful personality and uniqueness are only quietly present beneath the surface. The overall sound is homogenized and bland. A sad day for me.
