Review Comments: Highly recommended. While I was fairly disappointed in the Sex and the City soundtrack, the score is a rare gem amongst my cd collection. I praise Aaron Zigman for creating this masterpiece and wish he received more recognition for his creation. The soundtrack is elegant and lovely. From the privacy of my car, I re-lived the movie and found myself reflecting on my own life. It is moving. In just one song, you could feel the pain and heartache Big had caused her for all those years. For those who have seen the movie, some of the pieces combine several scenes (for instance, all scenes with Dante are combined into one), and the cd does not follow in order with the movie, but the sequence makes for a more logical flow for listening. I have purchased two of these cds, one for myself and one for my mother. I plan on buying more to give as gifts. It is some of the best money you can spend, and a must have for anyone who loves Sex and the City or beautiful compilations of music.

Review Comments: This is one of the best movie soundtracks, ever. Stand outs are India Arie's version of Don Henley's "The Heart of the Matter", Jem's "It's Amazing", and the Nina Simone remix by Madison Park and Lenny B. Even the Fergie track grew on me and that's saying a lot. Can't wait for the DVD!
