Mariah is still#1

Album Rating: (4 of 5 stars)
Review Comments: No matter what people say.. Mariah did a great job on this cd. She has fun upbeat songs. my favorite song are " I stay in love", " Im that chick" for the record" ( fan understand that song) ill be loving you long time and Touch my body", Love story.
I cant wait for the tour!!!!
Frightening!

Review Comments: A Complete Waste Of Time And Money. I've Always Been Mariah's #1 Fan, I Have All Of Her Cd's, Imports, DVDs Etc. I Lost A Connection With Her When She Released "Charmbracelet", Something Was Just "Missing"... I Was'nt Touched At All. I Decided To Give It Another Chance With "Emancipation Of Mimi", That Was Another Dissapointment. Now, Here We Have E=MC2 And I Can Honestly Say That I Am "So- Over" Mariah Carey. She's Definatley Lost One Of Her Biggest Fans, I Honestly Do Not Like Her Music, Her Voice Is Withering And The Hip-Hop/Rap Beats With Tired Lyrics Is Annoying. The Magic In Her Voice Is Completely Gone, The Enchanting Ballads That Had Me Captivated No-Longer Exsist. This Album Could've Easily Been Sang By Keyshia Cole, Monica, Ashanti, Danity Kane, Pussycat Dolls Or Any Of The Other Boring Hip-Hop/Rnb Chicks Out There.
One of Mariah's worst albums to date!!

Review Comments: I have been a Mariah fan for many years and I have to say this is one of her worst albums to date. It certainly is not as successful as, "The Emancipation of Mimi," where every track on that album was great! It more than likely won't earn her a Grammy either and I get the feeling that she rushed to make this album. She didn't point as much vocal talent on this album, like she did on the last one or on her early albums she released in the 90's. The best song on this album is her #1 single "Touch My Body." It could've been better!
Another disappointment from Mariah

Album Rating: (2 of 5 stars)
Review Comments: I admire Mariah Carey's songwriting talents, however I was absolutely disappointment with this CD. I thought the last album, her comeback album was overrated and this one is far worse. Instead of buying it, I check out at a local library. The songs, including that overrated song, Touch my Body was boring. I miss the old Mariah Carey from the 90s, but I know those days are gone. I think some of the artists' music like Mariah whom, I grew up with has gone downhill. Mariah Carey is a talent vocalist but her change to the hip hop culture is not her style.
I have discovered this gem album 7 months after its release !

Review Comments: I became officially a Mariah detractor in the last years( with the exception of the great We belong Together ...a masterpiece ). I bought E=MC2 in April because I was buying other Cds and felt bad about not buying it along with the others. I didn't like Touch my Body. For me it is a stupid song and a stupid video. Therefore, the CD was left untouched among several others. However, the first time that I listened I Stay in Love, For the record and I wish you well, I felt that the CD was " Not that bad after all" . Since them, I have discovered Bye Bye and Side Effects. These are the 5 songs that gave me back the faith in Mariah. The one I like the most of them is "I Stay in Love " a beautiful song with a nice beat, catchy lyrics and a heartbreaking finale, that only Mariah can sing. This song is really hard to sing. I have seen many people singing it in You Tube and most of them avoid the challange of singing the high final notes. For me, I Stay in Love is a sleeper hit in the oven that will heat us during the cold 2008-2009 winter season. At least it deserves to be a monster hit if only US radio stations and fans embrace it.
