Review Comments: Amazon was excellent to work with, as usual, however this is not the greatest Christmas album. I love Now That's What I Call Christmas 1 and 2, this one is not nearly as good!

Classics galore, with some repetition

Review Comments: This CD contains many of the Christmas songs I was looking for, and for a great price. Some of the reviews mentioned that the first CD had more of the well-known versions/performers and that the second CD had more modern artists, but I thought that some of the tracks were incorrectly categorized as modern and vice versa. Oh, well. Really, the only thing I was disappointed about was that some of the songs on this CD are the same as those on the 1st and 2nd Now Christmas CDs...don't they have someone keeping track of that kind of thing? Overall, though, I am happy with this product and would recommend it over many of the other Christmas CDs out there.

Not as good as Now Christmas 1 & 2

Review Comments: Volumes 1 and 2 of this holiday series were terrific. Volume 3 stumbles a bit. Most of the good stuff was on the previous volumes. But there are some good selections, like Tony Bennett's My Favorite Things, Andy Williams' Its The Most Wonderful Time, Bing Crosby's Silver Bells and You're a Mean One Mr. Grinch. But I agree with other reviewers. We didn't need another Beach Boys version of Little Saint Nick. How about The Man With All The Toys or their version of We Three Kings instead? Celine's version of Feliz Navidad isn't bad, but how about her versions of Ave Maria, Brahms' Lullaby or her original song The Magic of Christmas Day (God Bless Us Everyone). Two songs I think are blatantly missing from all three of the Now Christmas CDs are Perry Como's Ave Maria and I Wish it Could Be Christmas Forever.

Still, there are several favorites on this collection, like The Jacksons, Cyndi Lauper, Gloria, Mariah, Burl Ives, Kenny Rogers and The Chipmunks. It's a decent selection but pales in comparison to the first two.
