Not Great like other CD's of hers

Album Rating: (3 of 5 stars)
Review Comments: OK, but I prefer her other CD's and The Weepies CD's. New talent for me discovered by an NPR interview.
Utterly and completely brilliant.

Review Comments: I am a lyrics guy. Deb is a poet. I was taken off guard at the depth and warmth of the lyrics in this album. It's the kind of album you want to just go out and buy for everyone so they can appreciate it and so that the artist will keep doing their thing!
Did you know

Review Comments: I haven't purchased this cd yet, but I plan on it. Due to the fact, she sounds a lot like Sam Phillips. I love Sam phillips, mainly her unique voice, and this music is just what I'm looking for. Unlike most people, I found out about her through the group Happiness, from a JcPenney commercial.
So...If you buy this cd, you should look into Sam Phillips.
I lurve her... just discovered...

Review Comments: She and Steve are great! I see them everytime they come to Boston
Check out the Weepies x-mas song: "All That I Want," you'll listen to it year 'round.

Review Comments: Deb Talan is wonderful and poignant singer/songwriter along the lines of Edie Carey, Anne Heaton, and Dar Williams. I have had the pleasure of seeing her live at the Iron Horse in Mass. and was pleasantly surprised. This CD is a testament to her talent. My personal favorite is "Forgiven" which can also be found on the Lovely & Amazing soundtrack, of which I also recommend.
