Possibly the Best Album of All Time

Album Rating: (5 of 5 stars)
Review Comments: I'm sure if you are reading this I don't need to explain this album. It is possibly the best album of all time. This is what good music is supposed to be about. Virtuosity, originality, and flawless harmony. I'm so glad that I discovered this music when I was young. It has truly changed my life.
Thanks Tony, etc.

Review Comments:
As one who has been critical of what is commonly known as New Grass (Tony's later work, Allison Kraus's later work), let me say that this is simply a fantastic album made before the business of music set in. Before the soul of the music faded. Buy it!!, but for modern Blue Grass stick with people like Del and Ricky.
Amazing recording

Review Comments: It amazes me that this set never got the airplay it deserves. Vocals & instrumentals are top notch. It is one of my new "favorite" albums.

Review Comments: Tony is an incredible musician and excellent singer. This album has a good variety of numbers that show the versatility of Tony and his unit. This is a must have album for Rice fans and flat picking fans, as well as all around Bluegrass fans.
Worth the price...at any cost

Review Comments: Tony Rice is the same to bluegrass guitar as Hendrix was to rock guitar or Charlie Parker was to jazz saxophone. An innovator. A genious. I cannot recall hearing more talent in any bluegrass album I've ever heard. Scaggs, Grisman, and Rice all in the same band? Whoa! This is the ULTIMATE bluegrass cd. The ULTIMATE. I don't even need to go over the songs one by one because every single one is true perfection. Rice plays so fluidly, never missing a note, I am floored every time I listen to this cd. Five Stars.
