Review Comments: I've had this book for 6 months now, and have learned to play Angelina quite well, fingerstyle. Overall, I highly recommend it.
The notes and fingerings are dead-on, though the tab is not as accurate in detail as some other tab books and guitar mags. E.g., dotted notes (which are half again as long as undotted ones) are not used at all. Instead, a fast hammer-on will be just 2 1/16 notes. There are also no notes faster than 1/16. None of this is problematic from my point of view, and might even be a good thing in that it will give you a manageable place to start learning the song and force you to listen closely to the recording to get the right touch.
As time goes by, Tommmy plays slightly more elegant versions of many songs, and you might find your favorite version on the Web. This book will be extremely useful in that respect, too.
The intro notes to each song are interesting and make it obvious that the author knows TE quite well and has sat down with him to see how he plays certain parts.
