Description: Where Are All My Eight-legged Friends?

Oh where are all my eight-legged friends?
I fear that they’ve all met with sad ends.
They hailed me when I came back home, they’d greet me with the dawn.
But now it seems they’ve disappeared, I fear that they’ve all gone.

Gone to the afterlife where ugly creatures dwell.
Gone to a world that welcomes spiders straight from hell.
Cozy in a corner there, by the ceiling near a hall
Where I can’t crush them dead again against the bedroom wall.

Oh where did all those eight-leggers go?
That came in from the cold air and the snow.
My house was warm and dry where they could spend a winter night.
They should’ve tried to crawl away when I turned on the light.

Gone to the afterlife where ugly creatures dwell.
Gone to a world that welcomes spiders straight from hell.
Cozy in a corner there, by the ceiling near a hall
Where I can’t crush them dead again against the bedroom wall.

Oh where are all my eight-legged friends?
