not our pick   our pick
Description: Rattlin’ Roarin’ Willie / Arthur Muse’s / Scartaglen
Robert Burns, the Scottish Bard, added the 3rd stanza of this auld border song to commemorate his friend William Dunbar, his printer in Edinburgh and colonel of the Crochallans Fencibles, a drinking club which met in Daunie Douglas’s Tavern in Anchor, Edinburgh, Scotland. Arthur Muse & Scartaglen are traditional jigs from Rosie’s repertoire which added a perfect energy to this song about Willie and his fiddle.
