not our pick   our pick
Description: Recorded on a cassette 4-track in a damp San Rafael studio apartment overloking Hwy. 101 during the 66 day El-Nino deluge of 1998.

Conceived at a laundromat after a long talk I had with myself on Stinson Beach.

As the Sun touched the water at days end, it hit me...the Sun is eight “light minutes” away from was only the incoming light I was seeing, not the Sun at all.

Whether that’s comforting or disconcerting... I’m still not quite sure.

It's that strange feeling you get when you understand that when you gaze upward that the light has traveled so long that the stars may be long gone...Well sung...great lyrics.
