Artist Biography:
Don Strandberg is a solo acoustic guitarist with a wide range of influences and inclinations. His recent CDs, 'In the Land of Cotton' and '900 Miles', are collections of original compositions and selected historic standards from Americana. The idea is to evoke the daily lives of ordinary people in times past through music that is timeless.
The combo 'Soundworks' is an ongoing project featuring music for guitar and percussion. The latest CD entitled 'Kaleidoscope' is an eclectic blend of original and traditional tunes merging the sounds of the Celtic British Isles, Spain, and Morrocan North Africa. There's even some blues!
