Artist Biography:
Hi all... I'm the oldest of five and was born into a family with musical roots. My dad, grandfather, grandmother, aunts and uncles were all involved with music in one way or another in Mexico. As well as on my mom's side where music and dance were a big part of the culture and family life. I consider it a tremendous blessing to have musical genes filter down into me.

Although I've got music in my blood, this native Houstonian and self taught guitarist is relatively new to the Houston music scene and I've begun as many of my peers have.... at the open mic. You can catch me on occasion at open mics held in Houston at The JP Hops House, The Mucky Duck, Cosmos Café and The Vintage Bar.

Been influenced by many different styles of music from classical, to jazz, to grunge, and metal, new country, old country and red dirt.

But the stuff I play might best be described ... well, I don't know.... it's kinda hard to peg.

My music is simple and unassuming. Pure.... passionate... and revealing. It isn't quite folk, not really country, not so much pop and not towards the edge of rock. It's just.... well, just music.

Give it a listen and let me know what you think. I'd really appreciate the feedback.

peace, rob
