Artist Biography:
A public vocalist since age 4, Diana Tyler began playing guitar just before she got married some 19 years later.

Since then, Tyler has been writing what has been called, "Earthy songs about heaven...and heavenly songs about more earthly things, too."

Her work has been affectionately labeled, "profound or profane", swinging between introspections of faith which personally involve the listener, to adult novelty songs designed just for fun.

With a musical style encompassing folk, contemporary Christian, blues, rock, country, and pop, Tyler has played festival stages, baseball stadiums, convention centers, park gazebos, coffee houses, restaurants, private clubs, comedy venues, and churches.

Diana' song, "Only Joseph" was signed to Nashville's Cavet-Vanderpool Publishing and is now appearing on Rosebud Records' "Wise Men Still Seek Him" by the women's vocal trio J3. The cut also appears on Rosebud Records' "A Rosebud Christmas". Both disks are available at .

In 2006, her song, "Dream On, Sisters!" was awarded title song for a compilation cd of songwriters from the United Church of Christ and Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). Other songwriters on that disc include Carrie Newcomer and Laura Hall, of Drew Carey's, "Who's Line Is It Anyway?" TV improv show.

Tyler released her first cd ("CRISIS and Diana Tyler") in 1999 with the Christian rock band, CRISIS.

She has had songs published in a children's church school curriculum about the Psalms, through Christian Board of Publication, and also self-released a companion cassette entitled, "Psalmthing to Sing About."
