Artist Biography:
Tony is a singer songwriter based in country Victoria, Australia. Playing solo and with his band Pennyweight, he writes songs that tell the story of the landscapes and communities of regional Australia. English child migrants sent to Australia in the 1950s, the impact of invasion on Traditional Owners, and the trials of love gone wrong, are some of the diverse topics he writes about. An accomplished finger style guitarists and banjoist, Tony's songs have won awards nationally and at events such as the Roddy Read song contest at the Maldon Folk Festival.
