Ava Earl is a singer-songwriter from Girdwood, Alaska. Her music has a folk-rock feel and appeals to listeners of all ages.
Ava is set to release her second studio album on May 26, 2017. Recorded at The Hallowed Halls in Portland, Oregon, this self-titled project features Ava on guitar and vocals, with additional guitar and bass accompaniment by longtime Alaska musician Andy Mullen. National touring artist and award winning songwriter Anna Tivel also joins Ava on two tracks. The album was recorded mostly live using a mix of analog and digital techniques. The result is an honest sound: it's Ava as you would hear her live.
Playing shows year-round in Alaska, performances have included sets at Salmonfest, the Alaska State Fair, the Girdwood Forest Fair, and the Anchorage Folk Festival. Ava has also appeared on KTVA's Mic Check in the Morning (television), and KNBA's Alaskan Music Showcase (radio).
