Artist Biography:
"One of the UK's best up and coming singer-songwriters...a credit to his craft." - All Will Be Well

“Brilliant.” – Reading Chronicle

Ed Lofstedt is a Bristol-based songwriter who is releasing his second EP 'sweep me away', recorded with a supergroup of musicians from Bristol bands like Pictures of Belgrade, Iceman Furniss Quintet and Cécile.

All profits from the first pressing of the EP will be donated to Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM).

Ed's songs are touched with the melodrama of Sufjan Stevens, Guy Garvey and Justin Vernon; big-hearted, melodic, and wry.

Ed channels electronica and post-rock through his guitar and folk songs, drawing in huge dynamic shifts, spellbinding stagecraft and bewitching lyrics.

Ed's debut disc 'force for whatever' featured frequently on BBC Introducing shows.
