Artist Biography:
Blue/Rose/Revival is a dynamic he/she duo (guitars, cajon drum, female & male lead vocals, and harmonies). A folk band, they have been compared to a modern day June Carter and Johnny Cash. With Tucker Blue hailing from Tennessee and Emily Rose from the Canadian Prairies, their sound is heartfelt and relate-able. It manages to convey a tropical twist from time spent abroad in Hawaii and Latin America. Tucker's Cherokee vocals are a happy mix between Kings of Leon, Mumford and Sons, and Jack Johnson. Emily's song writing abilities and vocals have been related to that of Sheryl Crowe and Joni Mitchel. Her heritage is the Ojibwa culture of Canada - hence the dream-catcher hanging from their guitar. The most recent comparison has been to the likes of Fleetwood Mac.
Blue/Rose/Revival has performed internationally for such charities as Ocean Symphony. They performed in a concert showcase at the Hard Rock Cafe in San Jose, Costa Rica. They have also performed in Emily's local city of Calgary for charitable organizations such as Servants Anonymous and Child Haven.
